‘Women Empowerment’ aims to aware the students about famous women personalities of India and the world, their achievements and their contribution to change the society for better tomorrow. Various  activities would be conducted in the school to voice the problems women and discussing the solutions for the same.

PPT PRESENTATION

 A Power Point Presentation and a documentary film on ‘Women Empowerment’ was shown to the students. The students saw famous woman personalities of Australia, California and England and their contribution to change the society for a better tomorrow .

DECLAMATION COMPETITION

 A declamation competition was organized for the students of the classes IX, X and XII. The aim of this activity was to make the students aware about the strength and power of the woman.

Debate Competition

 “For good ideas and true innovation, you need human interaction, conflict, argument, debate.” Margaret Heffernan an Inter House Debate Competition on the topic ‘Women Empowerment: A Boon’ was organized for the students of the secondary section . Debaters from each house put forth their best arguments both in favour of and against the motion. Their firm stance and confident demeanor was met enthusiastically by the audience. The contestants were judged on content, presentation style, vocal delivery, body language and overall impact. The entire experience was intellectually stimulating for the audience.

 III Position EVA SAKUNIYA- VII A (EDISON HOUSE)

QUIZ COMPETITION

A quiz-competition was conducted for Students on the topic of ‘Empowered women, Empower women’. The quiz competition helped the students to think from different angles or simply “to think out of the box”.

MOVIE TIME

 The famous Movie ‘Manikarnika’ based on the life of Rani of Jhansi was shown to the students. The students were motivated and learnt how the legendry queen made the impossible ‘possible’ and showed her leadership qualities to the man headed society.

STREET PLAY

 The students performed a street play at village Panchaderiya to make the people aware that Women is an Integral part of the Society and is nowhere helpless. Through the play they conveyed the message that 21st century women are empowered and are able to win the battle of  her life.
